A lot of Adams properties are compact village lots with the houses built close together and mature trees crowding the yard. That's a different job than an open half-acre: more trimming than mowing, tight turns, and edges that show immediately if somebody rushed them.
It also means the leaves have nowhere to go in the fall. A yard boxed in by mature trees and neighboring houses collects everything, and it doesn't clear itself.
Mowing, cleanups and snow
Weekly and biweekly mowing with the string-trimming actually done properly, fall and spring cleanups where the leaves leave in our trailers instead of sitting at the curb, and plowing through the winter. Tight driveways need a plow operator who's careful about lawn edges and markers — that's on us to get right.
The house as well as the yard
Adams has a lot of older homes, and older homes need work. We build and repair decks and porches, install hardwood floors, frame, side, and handle remodels and tear-outs. One company for the property instead of chasing three contractors.
