Richmond is a quiet, rural town just west of Pittsfield — close to our base, but small enough that a lot of contractors don't run regular routes out here. Properties tend to be spread out, with real land around them and long approaches.
For us it's a short run west, which means we can hold an actual schedule here rather than getting to it when we get to it.
Grounds care on larger rural lots
Mowing on a set weekly or biweekly route, landscaping and mulch beds, plantings, and cleanups in spring and fall with everything hauled away in our own trailers. Bigger, more open properties take equipment and people, both of which we have.
Winter, and the rest of the property
Plowing and salting through the winter — worth arranging before the season rather than during it. And on the building side, decks and porches, hardwood floors, framing, remodels and haul-away when the house needs attention too.
